We like to use a heddon tiny torpedo also but instead of a top water we use sinkers to use it under the water looks just like a baby crawfish deadly on bass.  They work pretty slick on the top of the water too!

A bat! I bet that was interesting to get off the hook.

What kind of fight did he put up?
Don't bring shame to our sport.

He died for dipshits too.

Jigs worked today😉

I casted to my phoebe minnow out just as it was getting dark and all of a sudden I heard a bunch of splashing and some pulling on my line so I set the hook and it felt really weird but I was reeling it in and I could hear a splash and I thought I had a fish so I reeled it up the trestle and pulled it over the rail and swing it right in front of me and it was a freaking bat

I assume it grabbed it in the air when I was Casting to the water. I didn't see no way to unhook him without getting bit  and I wasn't going to lose my lure so I had to terminate the bat with extreme prejudice by stomping on him and ripping my lure out of his mouth 😇😇😇😇

I don't fish much anymore but when I did spinner bait was always the preferred bait.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs
