Yes, yes!  I like it.  That kayak sure gets you to some great places.

FinsnFur

It sure does Clyde. Mentally AND geographically lol.
If this is my midlife I don't ever want it to end. I was driving home in the dark tonight thinking to myself, why did it take me 50 years to find out about kayak fishing. The peace and tranquility of being in that kayak out in that river is unmatched by anything I've ever experienced in my life.
I want to do it for another 50 years. This isn't fair.[emoji45]

You got the kayak disease and got it bad.  Didn't know anyone but I felt the way you expressed it.

Good memories:  moonlight paddling from Canada into the US on Ross Lake under snow fields on the peaks above; paddling the Fraser River after salmon in roaring rain; drifting and letting the current take me.

Yet I'm so rusted up with arthritis that I haven't been out even once this summer.  Sad, because I have a good salmon spot right against some cliffs and shore ledges a little over a mile of paddling from a beach road.    Enjoy your yak extra for me.

Don't bring shame to our sport.

He died for dipshits too.

I can do that for ya Clyde.
Barry, I'm certainly gonna try. I might not get another 50 years out there but I'm going to give it my best shot LOL
