I watched it with no problems, it was pretty neat and very large. How long do you leave a hide in the tumbler? What do you put in the tumbler with the hide? I've never seen anything like this. We just salt the hides and nail en up till they dry, that's all the curing I've ever done. Course our fur in the heart of Dixie is so fine .LOL!

That tumbler is heavily built.Does the chain have to be that heavy.Fine piece of work. :congrats:I built something similar out of a 30 gallon steel drum to clean fish.It had 1/2" holes punched all in it with a piece of 3/4" rigid pipe through the middle to supply water as it turned to descale the fish.

Jim,
Just click on the tv screen and the program loads. Imagine that, me telling the computer guru what to do.LOL :roflmao:

Your talking about some serious tumbling. That setup has got to cost a fortune with that size motor and all. Very heavy duty tumbler though. Well made and nice.

this one is for buff hides they said that this size tumbler will only be able to do 3 hides at once.  as for how long I am not sure my father and i just make em to the customers specs.  the gear box is appx 600lbs and turns 17rpms.  I forget how many inch lbs of tourqe this baby puts out.
