Title: First one of the year
Post by: FinsnFur on April 23, 2019, 10:37:40 PM
We're going through some major flooding up here. Flood stage for the Mississippi in our pool is 16 feet. It's at 21 while I type this expected to get to 22 by Thursday. It's not a good situation for people in the lowlands.
I launched the kayak in a cornfield Saturday and landed this Sow in the woodline. And it was the only one that was interested. Water was 52° ..2 to 3 ft deep over the corn stubble. Pretty interesting kayaking though lol

Well, now you can say that you have done something that many will never do - fish a corn field and catch a fish there.   :highclap:      :highclap:      :highclap:

Wish we could get some of that water down here.  Mandy and her family are up north fishing for trout.

I'll trade some of our sunshine for your water.  It's as dry out here as a popcorn fart in church!
