If that law is passed, gun owners are screwed.   :argh:   :mad3:  :mad2:

Any ammo YOU NOW HAVE must be DESTROYED!   Or you go to jail.   Wow!   :madd:

(1)   On or before January 1, 2011, an owner of ammunition for use in a regulated firearm that is not encoded by the manufacturer in accordance with Section 3 of this Act shall dispose of the ammunition.

I checked out Kentucky's Legislature's web site and found that this bill (KY HB 715) was introduced on March 4, 2008 and WITHDRAWN on March 5, 2008.   :yahoo:   Apparently a lynch mob went looking for the bill's sponsor and she decided to cut her losses quickly.

But, hey guys, this is the kind of stuff we can expect from the Obama-ites and their new world order agenda.  Stay tuned.

Bills Custom Calls

Any State that passes this should have to replace the ammo they want to destroy

Why should it cost the gun owner money

So we can't afford to buy ammo & shoot anymore. If they can't take the 2nd from us they will make it financially impossible for us to have even enough ammo to defend our homes from the trash that is stealing the ammo to use against us.

HaMeR is right.   It is not about preventing crime.    It is about making guns so expensive, no one can afford to have one.   In effect it is an attempt at a backdoor gun ban.   The loony tunes on the left will not rest until ALL things that go BANG are outlawed, confiscated and destroyed.

Gun control has always been the first step to genocide.  Just look at history.

Gun control is already in place even if unofficially.....where I live you can openly carry a handgun with no permit...or concealed with a permit...well theres this old bobcat who openly carries ALL the time...hes always around boat ramps n such fishing....he carries his concealed carry permit with him at all times...and is constantly getting checked by wardens and cops and having people call the cops on him....even though he is legally carrying....even though I can legally carry openly im sure if I walked through downtown with a sidearm exposed i would be swarmed by cops within minutes....so it might be legal on paper...but in reality...and I agree that ammo control is easier then gun control so the antis will use it to backdoor their anti-gun agenda.

Gun control is not about reducing or preventing crime, it never has been.  I have always believed that this is just the emotional vehicle that the left uses to achieve their objective.  Gun control is about controlling people, pure and simple.  One has to just look at Czechoslovakia or Romania, the citizens were poorly armed from years of control, the Soviets rolled their tanks in with little resistance.  Just my two cents.  Day seven of -35 to -50, now weather forecast is for these temps until January 14th.

I suspect there isn't enough available jail space in this country to house all the offenders should this legislation pass.
