Since I have never been to LBL, How would you folks recommend I prepare?
Have you ever been there and wished you had done something different?
What should I bring that I may not think of till I get there?
Do I need my own Toilet paper?
dish soap and tub?
come a long?
Of course I plan to hunt my but off......we are going early on Tue. and staying till Sun.
But how can I prepare for the stay and not need anything?

We don't know about the restaurant yet. And if it does open, it may only be Friday-Sunday. So you might bring some food with you.
I took dish soap last year but didn't need it. Paper plates & cups.
A few trash bags.
Come-a-long? I'll have mine with a tow strap.
There's T/P in the bathrooms, but as Frogman knows, you may need it in the woods. :innocentwhistle:

I took way too much stuff last year. I'm cutting back a little this year.

I think the biggest thing is something warm to sleep in.
There's no heat in the cabins, other then whatever you provide.
Bring the best sleeping bag you got, and extra blankets aint gonna hurt.

The cabins do have electrical outlets, so an electric heater is going to be worth it's weight in gold.

Also if you plan on using the showers bring your own towels, and make em the biggest ones you got cause it's like 4 degrees warmer in the shower hut then it is outside. And the faster you can dry yourself off the sooner you can prevent hyperventilating.  :laf:

Weedwalker Ed has been after me for a couple of years now to come down there, but it is next to impossible for me to get down there at that time of year.  Many of my best coyote hunting farms are always right in the middle of calving in that part of February, and I just can't tell them I'd rather go someplace else.  Besides, I'm afraid Bopeye might whup what little bit of prehensile tail I have left!   :roflmao: :laf:  I know you guys will have a great time though, and I sure hope you kill a bunch of yotes.  :highclap:

Alscalls Al:  I'll have you know that I am known as "The Magnificent Marsupial" by the guys on my old job, the Lexington Fire Dept., the only upright walking, English talking, non-nocturnal marsupial you are likely to find. Add to that weighing 200+ pounds, and liking to hunt coyotes, bobcats, and crows, while in the company of guys like a real life Weedwalker Ed, you ain't got no nocturnal possum who hunts a dead horse or cow to climb up in at night.  :roflmao: :roflmao:
