Congratulations to the both of you, extra special since it was the first hunt.  Do you have any idea how many people applied for a tag and how many drawn?  All that was missing from the picture of the gator on the table is a knife and fork

They drew 1000 names and 600 bought the tags.  Tags are $100 and I've forgotten how many people killed.  If you were drawn and did not buy your tag you would be penalized for the next year.

What sounds did you use to call them in??? 

Just kidding!  I know even less about hunting alligators than I do about hunting coyotes.  Looks like fun though!

Believe it or not I used a juvenile gator grunt to keep the female on top of the water.
