I wanna go fishing so bad I can taste it, and spring just does not seem to want to come this year up here.   :mad3:

Winter weather advisory in effect for tomorrow now :doh2:

Sorry, just felt like whining a bit

Yeah, that "wanna go" can leave a bad taste in your mouth. I was sure glad I got over it when I caught all those trout last week.

I couldn't take it much longer. I had to at least drive down to the river this afternoon.

Good news, all the ice is finally out. Bad new the water is colder then you know who.
I even managed to snap off a pic for Silencer and Coulter :eyebrownod:

Look at all the miniatures in the background :laf:

Please visit our ol' buddies over at: http://www.easterncoyotes.com

Born and raised in the southern highlands of Appalachia, I'm just an ol' country boy who enjoys calling coyotes... nothing more, nothing less.

I noticed that too Silencer, and since I'm totally daft on the subject  , I was going to ask ya.
Who and why would they be collared?

You can read  the numbers on the collars with a spotting scope so they are trying to keep track of their movements I think Jim.
I say what I think not think what I say.

FinsnFur

I think that makes sense.
In the spring there are usually 100's of them in the backwaters. I think I got a pic on the board here somewhere, I took last year where there were so many in the distance it looked like snow covering the water.

We saw around 500 of them today.  Beautiful birds.
