Jimmie or Chet, is there a place I can call and buy a bunch of these maps so we have them to hand out when we get there?

Jim,
The small maps are easy to get @ LBL or any store close to LBL that sells the hunting permits. I’ve got some  but they are several years old.
I’ll bet Jimmie may have a few too but if you want his honey hole marked maps... they be expensive.  :roflmao:

Several LBL maps in PDF format:

For general information on LBL, call 270-924-2000.

No I wasn't talked about anything like that. Just a general map to let folks know where they are. A map of the area.

In case someone shows up without one, cant find one, or just has know idea where they are at.....including myself.

I have maybe a dozen of the old maps in my stash. Thye have a bit more on them than the new ones do and its a bit easier to figure out where you are on them. The down side of that is that some of the roads on them are no longer roads, which could get you into trouble.

And Gentleman, if that map says that road my be impassable, do not go there!!!!
I will pick up a bunch of the new ones so we won't have any trouble with folks getting out somewhere they might get stuck. I don't have near enough truck to get you out of some of the messes you could get into. It could be real easy to wrap a truck around a tree out there in the boonies. I have already come close to doing that just checking roads.

And another thing. do not drive out on roads you find that are not marked! These are field access roads not meant for public use and the fines if caught are hefty!!!!! You may park your vehicle near the road and walk in but do not drive on them. Jimmie
