Title: Kurtis Practicing on a call
Post by: Bills Custom Calls on February 08, 2009, 09:20:45 PM
Kurtis sure made me proud.
He did call a few stands for Hamer and I when we hunted and Weedwalker and I when we were out

I wouldn't have traded this weekend for anything
Thanks for everyone that made it possible

I forgot my speakers were on when I clicked on that.
My cat took off through the window, broke the glass, ran out in the road and got hit by a school bus.

I think I need Kurtis to head on up this way.  He is better than most electronic callers that I have heard and sure puts more into his calling than most people do.  I am sure that both of you will remember this trip for a long long time.  Now just remind him that he needs to take those calls to school for show and tell.    :shck:  Remind him that if he wants to bring them back home to put them on the teacher's desk till it is time to share.  Otherwise  someone  will say, "What is that?" and that will be the end of the call.  But then, who knows, maybe the teacher needs a new call.

Jerry

For Kurtis to get there that means I would have to drive and then we would have to hunt together
It would have been awesome if he would have called a coyote, and I would have got to shoot it
So it is settled I don't need an ecaller as long as Kurtis is hunting with me
Kurtis has a problem remembering things,he left his calls in the Durango Sunday evening when I dropped him off at home.Kurtis and his sister will be here this weekend so maybe we could get a few stands in.  :yoyo:

Although taking his calls to school is a great idea

Well I'm impressed Bill.  Tell the young man I'll be taking my laptop out and letting it call a coyote in for a picture up here in Canada.
