Nice catch. Release or table ready?

Release!  A long time ago I tried eating a bass I caught and it tasted just like the pond it came from and I have never ate one since.

Release is good, but...  I ate a lot of bass out of the Columbia River when growing up and thought that they tasted good.  Ditto for the large and small mouth bass we caught in Tenkiller Lake in OK.

Im a trout man, brookies, corn meal, salt and pepper...sizzle....sizzle........ I can't even remember the last time I heard or saw anybody eat a bass around these parts,  must be a regional thing.

When they come for mine they better bring theirs
