Dont see too many back footed like that, did you differ your set any way ?

Not at all. Is was a basic flat set with the log for a backing. I reckon it came over the log instead of around it and planted her back foot on the trap.

Nice looking coyote.  I have a problem trying to picture anything without snow in it here.  Everytime I get a back foot catch I imagine them trying to crap on my trap and getting caught in the act.
