Lure looks good,
and looks like a really cool area.
What the heck is that?...some kind of man made irrigation unit?
Its where the New River and the Gauley River meet and make the Kanawha river. The falls you see were made many many years ago as a hydro damn used to supply electricity to the small town you can see in the background. Its a very historic town but I'm more concerned about the awesome fishing. When you cast in here you never know what you might put a hook in. Sometimes real stripers are caught here from the ocean. When they swim up the Mississppi and keep coming up the rivers, this is the farthest they can make it because they cant get up the falls. It has alot of hybrids in here but I personally know of 4 real stripers caught here.
