This big old Whistler has been giving me the slip for a couple weeks now. The hay in the field he called home is almost too high again for huntin'. So, I figured I better get him tonight before the rain gets here tomorrow. The only way to get a decent shot at him at 150 yds, was if he was sitting up. So, I got down on the "Pogo Stick" and it wasn't long till I picked him out of the hay. He sat up to survey his domain and I sent a 52gr A-Max his way and flopped him a good one. At 15 pounds, he is to the best of my recolection, my heaviest to date. A real porker for sure. Thanks for taking a look,R.J.

That is a BIG hog. He is going to be tough eating, so you better parboil him a long time before you toss him in the fry pan. :wink:

The water is boiling right now. Gonna fry his butt in onions. :biggrin: Just kidding. I have eaten a couple of them. Not all that bad actually. I like em chicken fried. This one is just one less clover eatin' hole digger. Solid old man he was. The A-Max didn't exit. :shck:

Hey Silencer, I woulda buried him, but it is too hot to dig a hole that big. :biggrin:

Glen, it musta been the orange hat and the cussin' that made him stand up. A deer fly nailed me on the back of the arm while I was gettin on the pogo stick. I hate deer flyies! :argh:
