Title: Sunrise on the river
Post by: Coyotes-R-Us on October 25, 2018, 09:34:00 AM
YOU HAVE NOT LIVED TILL YOU RUN THE RIVER IN THE DARK.
Even with a near full moon It's still butt black. The moon had set well before we pushed off.
Very comforting to see the sun come up after an hour on the water

WOW!  Fabulous photo!  That is living.

Many evenings I have kayaked downriver into the sunset on the Fraser River to where my wife picks me up after fishing for salmon.  Love it.  One Fall I kayaked from Canada down into the US on Ross Lake, which has a road at each end but none anywhere close to the middle of the 23 mile long lake.  I started at dusk and paddled under a full moon till it set about 11:00 PM, then camped on an island.  Moonlight on the glaciers above.

We are blessed to experience such.  Thanks for posting that pic!
