We are planning another FnF Turkey Contest  (if there is enough member interest)
The contest rules and awards will be posted later in a different thread.

What we would like to ask: who is interested and when your spring turkey season starts and ends. This will give us a time frame for the contest.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact myself or any of the moderators.

Thanks and good hunting,

Chet

I have two knives I'd like to donate to the contest. It would be nice if we could get more kids involved and participating as well...

1. Muela Colibri Knife. Blade is 440c stainless steel (made in Spain). Genuine Red deer stag handles. Bottom part of handle has been curved (to fit the hand better) and smoothed/polished out with finger groove indention's. Top part of handle/grip has a carved turkey feather.

2. Browning Hunting Heritage Collection Limited Edition Turkey knife.
Blade is made out of AUS-8A stainless steel. Handle out of nickel silver and exotic hardwoods. Has a turkey medallion inlaid in the handle and includes an engraved display box and collectors' lithograph.

I'll play too....We also have a youth season on April 24 then the regular season is May 1 to May 31. And yes it does take old man winter a while to relinquish his grip up here.

Oh and I'll throw a slate turkey call w/ striker into the mix of prizes as long as you assure me I won't win it. :nofgr:
