Nice bird, i wish my dad was on this site.  He just got an Osceola that had 3 beards for a total of 26" of beard and 1 1/4" spurs.  He is getting it mounted.  I will try to get him to send me some pictures of it.

Sorry I didnt get back to you sooner, in reply to your PM. I disappear every other Friday night to go pick my girls up for the weekend. (4 hour round trip)

Look like you got er figured out, and that is a LOTTA bird  Nice job.
Thanks Jim, Sorry I even bothered you. I was like a kid at Christmas, I havent hunted by myself just for me for a while.
Aparently.......it only takes about two hours. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
I got back to my farm after killing this bird and the guys I had hunting were walking back to the truck and shot a coyote twice,He spun hard and ran over the hill. they could not find him but they claim his back was broke. :eyebrownod:
Good enough for me but I wish they had found it.

Please visit our ol' buddies over at: http://www.easterncoyotes.com

Born and raised in the southern highlands of Appalachia, I'm just an ol' country boy who enjoys calling coyotes... nothing more, nothing less.

Today is the last day of my season and

9 1/2 inch beard and 1 inch spurs.

This was one of those hunts that makes you wonder why turkey hunting can be so tough. It couldn't have went any smoother unlike the previous two weeks!

They were gobbling like crazy on the roost, I got set up about 75 yards away. Did a few soft tree yelps with my new North Bay box (thanks Steve) call. I heard em fly down, give em a few clucks and purrs with my new North Bay slate(thanks again Steve) 15 minutes later there they were!  BANG done at 6:56!

We've got quite a bit of rain the last few days, it's pretty wet out there.

Yesterday I saw this bird and another bigger one out in the field. I tried to belly crawl within range. I only needed to get another ten yards. After crawling and sliding 100 or so yards through the grass and mud I was soaked. Good thing the sun came out to dry me off.
