All the baseball practice and stuff I do with the kids I'd never figured the 13yr old would become a catcher.  From what he's telling me he's starting catcher for the Jr. High team.
I'm proud and stoked for him, thats the only position I've never work with him on  :roflmao:  :doh2:

It takes a special breed to be a catcher, I've only played the position a couple times in my school career.

So in other words all these years and all those suited up pics you been bringing us of him and the baseball team, you were wasting your time or teaching him all wrong. :rolleye:

The coaches prolly said, son your too far gone to fix for some of these positions, the only thing you haven't been taught is how to be a catcher, so were gonna hit it off there. :laf:

Actually good for him. I'm impressed he;s still holding an interest. It's good for him. :congrats:

The second principal I taught for was a catcher in high school, college, and minor leagues.  He thought it was the ONLY position that was worth playing.

Tell your son to keep his fingers out of the way of the ball, Simmon's hands looked like they had taken some pretty rough hits.

Jerry, he came home last night with a sore thumb.  The ball hit off the tip of the glove and about jamed it.

Jim, actually I was thinkin that... lol

Starting catcher. That's great! The catcher has to think sharp all the time and have the athletic ability to make plays, with alll that gear on.  :yoyo:
