I used a Trophy Ridge drop away with a hard right heical on the vanes to improve  accuracy at longer ranges. It worked very well. Stand hunting with it posed no problem for me. RP

I used a Pendulum in 83 and 84 and had good luck with the one I had until it froze in the down position while on stand. I drew back and was on a deer and noticed it did not move from where it was. After that I would always hesitated before a shot and could never truly trust it from then on. It never did freeze up through the rest of the year but was on my mind to much and replaced it with the horizontal sights.

They have probably come along ways since then and may not ever have a problem.

Stu, I really like my Whisker Biscuit too. I'm not gonna say it is "thee" most accurate rest out there, but I think if it is properly tuned it can "out shoot" the shooter. For hunting I think it's great. You don't ever have to worry about your arrow falling off your rest, and there is no moving parts to malfunction.
