Title: Solid copper muzzleloader bullets.
Post by: riverboss on August 30, 2019, 09:26:06 PM
What's your take on these all copper bullets that open up in 5 pettles?
I have been shooting the TC shockwave's  for yrs but haven't liked the lack of blood trail I get with them.
Bought some Barnes easy load solid Copper's, anyone used them?

I DO NOT SHOOT FRONT LOADERS. So that this with a grain of salt.
We reload every thing from 17 hornet to 458. And have loads we use with Barnes all copper bullets.
If you want/ need penetration In my mind there is no better.
Even there explosive bullets are great. They accuracy is out standing.
They are a bit $$$$$$$$$$$$ as far as blood trail... I have never had to rely on that, sorry.

Thanks I've heard good thing about them in rifle calibers, was more worried about them shooting straight threw without expanding.
That's the problem I'm having with the Schock waves.
