Re sand dollar in next to last pic: FWIW, did you know that sand dollars live with one edge stuck in the sand and 3/4 of their flat shell standing up on edge? They live in big clusters with sometimes hundreds of them standing on edge in a big patch on the bottom. Halibut like to lie on the edge of a sand dollar bed, and sometimes right on the little critters. When diving for halibut we'd cruise the edge of big sand dollar beds.

That looks a lot like the meal we get at Portland, Maine. Except we get it with deep fried lobster. Could not afford to do it every day, but it sure is good every few years.
