Ok with the triva thread Cathryn started folks were asking for questions so here we go the very first Fins & Fur Brainbuilder thread has been kicked into play

1# There is a town in Northern Ontario where 5% of all the people living in the town have unlisted phone numbers. If you selected 100 names at random from the town's phone directory, on average, how many of these people selected would have unlisted phone numbers ?

None. If they were listed in the phone directory then they arent unlisted.

2# Suppose a Squirrel is behind the trunk of a tree , which, it keeps between itself and a  hunter who is circling the tree. In this case does the hunter actully walk around the squirrel?

If the supposed squirrel is on the tree the hunter is walking around then yes. A smart hunter would pick up a rock, throw it past the side of the tree (where the supposed squirrel is supposed to be). When the rock hits the ground the supposed squirrel will be quite surprised by the noise and run to the side of the tree the hunter is supposed to be on. The hunter then shoots the supposed squirrel and happily posts pictures of it on FnF for all to see.
