Born and raised in the southern highlands of Appalachia, I'm just an ol' country boy who enjoys calling coyotes... nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah we figured you'd find this too technical and come up with something simpler...your further south then the rest of us.  :hahaha:

Kinda like that potato peeler situation you told me about today  :roflmao:

I always used the soft white nylon 3 strand rope. A foot of it will make 3 lures. Untwist it and use each strand to make a lure. Tie on directly to 20 #test in the middle and allow the two ends to dangle about six inches either side of th tie.Do a little more unraveling of the rope so it's good and fuzzy. Gar hangs his teeth in them and can't get loose to easily.

Or you can do the same thing as with the grinnel and use a cheap white spinnerbait and just keep tossing it until they get pissed  Jimmie

OK, I'm thinking, if I go into one of those places that sell fishing stuff, incognito of course*, & ask for a rod & reel for muskie/shark fishing that that would be a good place to start. Get those little cable thingies, a CWSB**, & 60psi fishing line.
What else would I need?  A beer cooler on wheels maybe even self-propeled? ;yes; A folding lounge chair? Beach umbrella?  Can I use my shooting sticks to prop up my rod?  Do they make tackle boxes that you can attach to the side of a beer cooler? What kinda reel do I get? An over or under?

*I'd use the same outfit I use to go into the adult book store, but I'm afraid someone might reconize me. :sad3:
**CWSB - cheap white spinner bait. BTW I'm not going to get in trouble w/ the NAACP over this am I?

And over or an under?   :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

That kinda gave it away, huh?

Drifter

FinsandFur  a quick way to deplete that population is in winter time . Chop a hole in the ice and get a dip net . They come up to breath and can pack em onto the ice and feed the eagles . I learned that from a guy that used to make mink food out of them .

You'd think they'd be coming up through the holes while your ice fishing then, wouldnt ya?
