In another post, someplace on here, I invited centerfire.223 and alscalls to come out for some calling. I just want to clarify that invite is extended to anybody here. All you need do is pay for your airfare and license. Wife and I will furnish ya a place to sleep and some grub. We just can't do it this year.

That is awfully nice of you. If I can figure out how to strap my AR on my Harley and get past the cops, I might show up on your doorstep next year sometime.

I've been thinking about taking a ride out west.

Boy now your rattling my memory

I'm thinking not....but what was the award for? and whom presented it?

The only distinguishing moment I can grab right now is Randy Black calling me up front and Brent Saxton handing me one of his latex banded cow horn howlers when I got up there. I'd wanted one of those things from the moment I heard one, but he'd never sell me one.
I found out why that day.

Now your rattling my memory. I can't remember what the award was for or who presented it. Black or PM had donated a custom 700 I think it was a 700 in .243 as the door prize. At any rate since we are just a couple of hours away I decide to go. It was my first and last PM hunt. I met Dan there. There was also a picture posted on the forum titled Three Grumpy Old Men showing myself, Rich and Jay N. I was just thinking maybe I met you there.

I had to do some research, I actually started this place the same year in May.

Lets see, I think I started out the banquet night by running the apparel table, Selling PM Hats, Shirts and Decals. And then ran around the rest of the evening with the video camera.

Oh,

And I had a ponytail about halfway down my back at the time.

How much room do you have? I have been checking and I think I have a used greyhound bus lined up for next year. I will start with a sweep through eastern Ohio, go on thru West By God, Kentucky, Tennessee, head up and get "Yes Sir" Jim, and head out. I think there are about 45 of us right now that will be on the bus.

On a more serious note this is a very nice gesture on your part and shows the kind of person that you must be.
