Winter is here

Old man winter has arrived here in Alaska. Wood stove is cranked up this morning. Back from moose hunting, not a good year, a lot of unfortunate events, still have time though to fill the freezer. Leaving for a grizzly bear hunt next weekend, try and catch one before they den up. Will post pictures later.

It's just a matter of time before it get's down here. The leaves are starting to drop and harvest will be starting up this week. I really like how the woods look right after a fresh now. Thanks for sharing.

That's more snow than we've had here in the past five years, maybe this year will be better.

Well its still fall down here John.

But, the wife and kids were in Fairbanks all weekend for Wyatt's Soccer tournament, which they played with snow on the ground?

Here in west Kentucky it was a mild 73 degrees today. Rained all week so it cooled things off a little.

SNOW is a four letter word. I don't mind it getting cooler, but I am not ready for snow. Good luck on your hunts and we will be looking forward to the pictures.
