I bumped my finger over week ago at work,not real hard but enough to know I did it and never give it another thought.Untill about 4 days ago wow this thing is tender.I noticed Monday it was a little red and when the cool wind blowed across it oh how it throbbed.
Yesterday about the same a little swelling.Woke up last night with some real pain must have bumped it in my sleep or Chris slapped my hand   
Today at work it thumped about all day and I bumped it on everything and one time so hard I broke out into a sweat and almost threw up  I done what anybody would I sat down and cried...well almost
I knew there was only one thing left to do and when I got home a hot water and epsom salt soak and after about 15 minutes a needle in my left hand and down in the water and into my finger I will save you the details on that.Now my finger is wrapped in gauze and neosporine and feels alot better

OUCH!! Hope it gets better now!!    Or at least before the "free" health care goes into effect.

Bill, you gotta watch for that mercer ( spelling ) crap.  My father in law is a logger and got a briar in his leg and ended up with a huge nasty infection that put him in the hospital a couple weeks ago.  They said he had mercer.

Wow, what a boo-boo Bill!
Ya want that I should get ya some Sponge Bob band-aids. 

Keep up w/ the HOT water treatment.   As Hot as you can stand plus a little more. 
I used to get so many wood splinters that eventually my hand/s would get infected.  A couple of tips in the "I think my finger nails are curling up" HOT water & I was go to go again.
