a couple of years ago I decided to make this.

I started with a piece of brass bar I found in the scrap yard. The wheels are made from hobby brass and the frame is from 1/4 inch thick brass flat stock (had to anneal it to get the curve). All told there is about $6.00 spent, but 3 days work on the lathe and milling machine. One of these days I will take it out and see if it survives being fired.
Nice work Art :yoyo: :yoyo: :highclap:
NICE :highclap: :highclap:
That is nice work!! You will have to take a video of it being test fired.
What caliber did you drill it out to?
I can't remember for sure but a plain wood pencil will work good for a ramrod. I have been thinking my next project will be an oil field pumping unit, If I ever break down and order the metal. :innocentwhistle:
Now that's cool art Art. :hahaha:

Wow :eyebrow:
There's some serious talent being unleashed by you Art. You been holding out on us. :wo:
I have always wanted to make things with metal.
I don't know about the talent part though. But, Thank you, either way.
Pretty dang cool !
Look forward to seein it blast off :yoyo:

:laugh2: Yes!
But seriously, Jim's right. Nice job on that sweet little cannon.
That is cooool!
Yeah, get a video set up when you go to fire it.
Even if it blows up you'll still have a cool video. :eyebrownod:
Very nice, Art! :congrats:
WOW! Art you and I would get along just fine...... :eyebrownod: We are making a ball turner right now and then we were thinking of taking some paint ball gun cylinders and making an air rifle......
We even discussed making a cannon with sights....... :eyebrownod:
Beautiful work!! :yoyo: :yoyo: :yoyo: :yoyo:
You did a very nice job on the cannon. Unless the wheels are much stronger than they look, they will not survive the recoil. I have a couple of small canons and they tend to go wherever they want when fired. They are a blast (so pun intended) to shoot.
