Guys... I'm glad you all found a place but please put me down for a no show. I'm just coming off a bout with the flu.. even making the LBL would have been right challenging. :argh:

As CCP mentioned above, I called the Captain of the 9th Distric Fish & Wildlife in charge of the area over where we're going. He was very glad to hear we are hunting coyotes there. There are about 800 head of free ranging cattle on the WMAs and the coyotes are doing a job on them.
He said NO ATV RIDING. Part of it has been open to riding in the past but they are putting a stop to it. You can drive your street legal vehical on any of the roads dirt/gravel in the WMAs.
No problem with people bringing handguns. And no magazine capacity restrictions on rifles. Shotguns must be plugged to 3 shells and No buckshot.
If you come up on an active mining area, turn around and go somewhere else.

JD,
We are staying at Pine Mountain Resort which is just a little South of Pineville KY.  We will be hunting Redbird WMA, Graham WMA and parts of the Daniel Boone NF.  Most of these areas are North of Pineville along Rt. 66.  I have never been to this area and others could probably give you more detailed directions.  I have been studying the maps and aerial photos for a couple of days in anticipation of going.  It would be great if you could join us.
