 :laf:

I am doing ok and am writuing this from the graves county library. Two weeks today without power. Been a pain in the kiester packing water for the toilet and drinking. I alos know our boys in the field aren't eating to bad with those mre's. At elast Fema did something around here. You wouldn't believe just jhow close ths is to becoming anotjher Katrina. Law is out in force but my part of the county is pretty much on it's own. They are packing off everything that isn't guarded .

Ice was 2 and a half inches in paducah and I had 2 and a quarter at the house. I have some interesting pcs from the house and will try and post them as soon as I get power. And for tho9se of you who wonder why the L BL was closed I will get in teher as soon as they will let me and get some pics of the mess mother natuere left us down here.

Actually, there have been a few posts in regards to you and the ice. I had no idea that people would still be out of power. That's gotta stink. No pun intended...well maybe there was. Glad to hear yer OK and hope your power is restored soon.

I told everyone that if any one could make it, it would be Jimmie.

I feel sorry for any moron that tries to pack off any of Jimmie's stuff.   :nono:   There are places in that end of Kaintuckee where a man can just disappear.

I been doing my share but not liklel;y to be any youngin's  :nono: Had enough already !!

As of 7:40pm we have ignition. It took a while to get everything up and running like it should but we is here. Well is out of commision for another day or so until I can get parts to fix it and see what else is haywire.

Yah'll keep on preying though. Storm system will be here by daylight with straightline winds that may clock 60 mph. :shck:
As if we don't have enough firewood to cut already.

My woods is enough to make ya sick  :puke: I think I even shed a tear when I walked through it the other day while the winds were calm. I lost even eight inch cedars broke off about 2 feet off the ground. I have a number of trees that are just 40 foot stumps, not a limb left on them. It is unbeleivable the damage done here. I got home from working afternoons (11:30pm) & Coyote Kate pops out the door w/ a Battery lamp in her hand & says "I hear a train!."  Yeap, she was right she did hear a train.  :laf:

To the unknowing Tornadoes are known to sounds like trains when they're coming.
