Title: 200 gallons of moonshine?
Post by: FinsnFur on January 16, 2013, 09:57:21 PM
There's a rumor going around that there's 200 gallons of moonshine inside a 1952 Chevrolet at the bottom of the Cumberland river...now known as Barkley lake at the LBL. :wo:

I actually got pretty close to making it down there again this year. I was gonna look for a ride to share.
But since were all laid off and have worked 8 days since Christmas...that kinda shoots that in the foot. :doh2:

As much as I appreciate it, I would have the trip covered.
I hoped to share a ride cause with 240K on my pickup...I dont know how I feel about a cross country road trip with it.

But either way, now being laid off for so long, when we do go back it'll most likely be for good. And we are tentatively scheduled to go back Monday the 21st. I dont have enough time under my belt to get any vacation time.

This is the modular housing business. Layoffs every winter. It was looking like we would be laid off for the first week of February though too...so I started squirreling away some coin for the trip.
