Have you guys seen this thing?
It's the car Bob Ritchie is driving around in his "Born Free" video.
I am so intrigued with this car I looked on the net for hours for pictures of it, and found some pretty interesting shots of it from the day, and some good info to boot.

This little snippet came directly from the CMT Website;
Kid Rock paid $225,000 for the car last March. For that price, not only did he get a classic American-made car, but a Nudie Cohn car. Cohn -- known as Nudie the Rodeo Tailor -- was a tailor to the stars who eventually started tricking out cars for his celeb clients.
So this Bonneville was actually designed -- with its six-foot-wide steer horns, saddle-like leather interior, genuine silver dollars and a six-shooter shifter -- for Hank Williams Jr.
In 1968, this "Silver Dollar Pontiac" landed in the Smoky Mountain Car Museum. Then in 2006, it changed hands again and wound up in the collection of Texas lawyer and avid car collector John O'Quinn.
When O'Quinn died in an automobile accident, the gem of a car went to RM Auctions, which is where Kid Rock bought it.
RM Auctions car specialist Dan Warrener said there was plenty of bidding on the Pontiac but that Kid Rock was "the perfect buyer for that car."

These next two pics I actually found on a site discussing leather interiors. The discussion leading up to the pics leads me to believe they were taken by a friend of the original owner.

Very interesting ride. Yep, saw it several years ago at the car museum. Looks like an antique Tennessee license tag on the rear bumper too.
You looking to trick out the Ford? If so I've got a couple of steer horns.... :wink:
That is purdy cool!! A lot of time $$ & effort to trick it like that. Very cool.
Is that you in the last pic Jim?? Or is that Barry Gibb?? :laf: :laf:
Thats Jerry Sandusky aint it?
Naahhh. The one on the left is too old for him. :alscalls: :alscalls:
Dang!! How many real and replica shooting irons are used in the customization of this American classic?
Thanks for posting this Jim! I find custom themed cars intresting and unique
$225,000??? Shoot I wouldn't give $2500 for the thing. :biggrin:
