Haven't seen a pic myself but I know he passed several 5 and 5x6 point bulls so it's probably a pretty good rack on this bull.
His son got a very good 5x5 bull with his bow a couple of weeks ago.
I haven't been posting much, but our family of son and 3 grandsons have taken 8 big game anmimals this season so far: 1 bear, 2 bull elk, 5 deer (3 bow, 2 shotgun). Add in a cousin who killed a humonguous blacktail buck and it makes 9. No guides, all local except the two bull elk were back east (from the Pacific Beach :laf: ) on non-resident tags.
I passed a small 18 month old fork horn on opening day and have a few days left to rifle hunt. I am able to walk on fairly good ground and have a two or three hour hunt per day in me, a morning or an evening but not both.
Looks like a VERY good season. Now it is your turn to drop one.
That is a pretty fair season, eh.
The dang elk are getting thicker than fleas around here. :doh2:
Congrats to the hunters. :yoyo:
Nothing wrong with that :congrats:
Time to invest in another freezer :eyebrow:
