Gary Reeder, Custom Kodiak Magnum New Model Ruger super Blackhawk 44 mag.
It has been shot very little.... But handled a lot.... the gold inlay is coming off in places and a few marks on the cylinder from cocking it...... This thing has the sweetest trigger I ever seen on a single action revolver.
I am gonna sell it/trade it for an AR15 (16" barrel W 1-9 twist)

Do any of you fellas know about what this thing is worth these days?
Check gunbroker.com
A regular super blackhawk 44mag goes for about $400-$500. The one you have might be a collectors item. Don't know for sure.
Oh I have looked.............. This on this one is very hard to find...... a Value, or for sale.
I guess when ya got one ya hang on to it........ But I dont use it..... and it just sits in the safe.....
Its time for a change...... :eyebrownod:
Almost forgot....... It's a 5 1/2" barrel.
I have looked all morning.......... I am about to give up....... :doh2:
Anyone have a new gun digest or something?
Al, that is a really nice pistol, customized by one of the best. With any used firearm there are many factors that help determine true value. Sadly it might not bring what it's really worth on today's market but find the right person...
Rock Island Auction puts an estimated value of $1,400-$1,600 for a very similar pistol.

Good luck!
Maybe if you "ask Reeder custom guns" you might get a good idea too.

I just opened this Reply to my E-mail.........
Al,
The Kodiak Magnum was a series we had about 20 years ago when our shop was in Florida. At that time they sold for $995. The only thing I can see wrong with your 44 is the gold in the engraving and the bands is gone. The gun is still worth $1000 minimum.
God bless,
Gary Reeder
Cool, that should give ya a good idea. ;yes;
Yea but I still cant seem to sell it........ :laf:
