If You look just to the left of the wooden box you'll see my little red ice fishing jigging rod sticking up a few feet :wink:

I have always thought icefishing tip ups are a pain in the butt although highly effective I always like to fish with a jigging rod.

The one in the little black bag with a red stripe all the way to the left is a Japanese flyrod called a Tenkara rod,  that you use without a reel. It works perfect on the little brooks that I fish for native brook trout.
