Ok....it looks like this took.

I have a Script modification available that allows members to post video clips (hosted on Google Videos) into their posts.

It's kinda slick since it plays the video right in the post. BUT the script is giving me fits.

Sooooooo, I altered the attachments script instead. You can upload videos, they won't play automatically but can be downloaded by the viewers.

Click here for the How to Post videos post.

Is anyone having issues with this?
I seem to be able to download them with Firefox, but not Internet Explorer.

I can't get it for some reason.

Cannot play back the video stream: no suitable decompressor could be found. (Error=80040255)

But you were able to download it?  That isssss wierd. And it's just a wmv file which means Windows media anyway.

If you couldn't download it, then how come you were able to comment on the video?

I can download it with Firefox. But for some reason it did it in TWO parts, and one part wasn't even a media file.
I got irritated and walked away, and when I came back windows had merged the two and left the playable file behind. So I watched it finally.

Now that got me head a little sideways

I don't even think I get the down load option. I click on it and it takes me to the error message.
