Title: Desert Flowers
Post by: JohnP on September 23, 2009, 07:41:17 PM
Most people probably think the desert is a pretty drab place.  We have a lot of desert plants that have beautiful flowers and bloom for a long time.  This is a lantana, drought resistant, and does well in the full sun.  Occasionally a deer will try to hide behind one.  this is why we need big binoculars and spotting scopes as they are hard to find once they get amongst them.

Yeah, John P, she is really camoed standing there in the flower garden.  Beautiful flowers though, look a lot like our marigolds here in old Kaintuck.

Tell her about the bunny and she won't stand there very long.
