Still doing online Registration? Anything different we need to add remove or change in the LBL FAQS (http://forum.finsandfur.net/index.php?topic=4563.0) thread?

Not sure either. All the rain we had this Spring/Summer here has made it hard to squirrel away the Winter monies needed to supplement the unemployment I receive.  Sure have missed the gathering these past couple years.

Glen I strip in my free time! I usually find out about gigs from a buddy who has to cancel. I show up and most times they pay me more just to leave my clothes  on! On some occasions if there really drunk I give them a show they love to run there fingers threw my back hair. Let me know how it turns out buddy.

Carolinacoyote you up for a Kentucky trip?

It is always the first full weekend in February.  In 2016 that is Feb 5-7, although several of us will be arriving earlier in the week.

Center fire season for coyotes starts on Feb 1 at LBL and lasts all month.

I found the answer; for those interested.

Kentucky Zones 3,4,5
Tennessee 12,14

There trapping isn't but 10 days and doesn't seem to have much of a impact as they target bobcats more than coyotes.

Looks like Barkley regional is closest at 65 miles. The zip code for Cadiz is 42211. I am not b sure on the milage from  cadiz to wranglers campground.

Title: Re: 2016 LBL hunt
Post by: linemansteve on December 07, 2015, 05:29:36 AM
There is no restriction on ar's per say other then it must be in a case, gun empty and clips stored somewhere other then with the gun, like the side pouch's on the case. You can also use suppressor's -just have your paper work with you, also no restriction on clip size. One other thing, your concealed  carry is no good on federal land.  Steve

I should know by next Monday.  I have to go to Phoenix for a series of neurological testing starting Wed through Friday.  I'm not to confident that I will be okay, as it stands right now I can't be more that 30 minutes away from medical assistance.  They are giving me a helicopter ride to Phoenix so we don't have to drive.

This is technically true.  As a practical matter, LEOs won't harass you if you are not otherwise being a problem.   But it is up to their discretion.

Also, when you buy a LBL hunting permit, you give the Federal LEOs the right to search your vehicle and possessions without a warrant.

Now there is a different thought than mine.  I traveled for near 2 weeks without one and never ever felt the need for one.  I suppose having Art and my tourist plates helped.  I did lose Art in Illinois for a bit while I was chatting with 4 rather large black guys[hope that's politically correct enough] as Art said I was gonna die doing that.  Them boys were good fun and I'm sure ain't never seen no one like that before. :innocentwhistle:

We run a tow service every other week were on call and you wouldn't believe the stuff we see and get called on.
We had a woman that wore a bike helmet she would roll up the windows and set off bug bombs all while wearing diapers. She would pee herself and save the diapers for later use. We don't know what she did with them she wouldn't tell us other than it was a great high.
Drugs are crazy everywhere you never know what you might run into anymore and I'm not going to be a victim if I can help it.

Got all done with the testing, I was probed, bent , twisted, peed in a dozen different tubes, enough blood drawn to start my own blood bank and then the doc said "we are going downstairs to do the nuclear medicine lab"  That's when I started to worry NUCLEAR LAB.  They shot some stuff into my veins that I think eventually works it's way into your brain then they take pictures of it.  It appears that I have had a series of mini strokes and some other stuff going on that they haven't figured out yet.  Bottom line - no travel until they figure things out, did say that there is the possibility of early onset Alzheimer and a major stroke.   So the LBL is out for this year, BUT you guys can all come out here and we can shoot .............

If I was closer, I'd be hanging out with ya shooting stuff everyday. You'd get sick of me and tell me to go home.  :eyebrownod:
Hang in there Pal...you have one helluva support group here

I found this on one of the Mayo Clinics sites
"During a nuclear stress test, doctors insert a radioactive dye called a tracer into a vein, usually in your hand or arm. Several different tracers may be used. The dye travels through your blood vessels to your heart. Imaging scans detect the radioactive dye and use it to develop images of your heart muscle. The scans show how well the blood flow is to your heart and can detect if you've had a heart attack."

Mr. John, Do you think you are having problems with your Heart? I had the Nuclear Stress Test on a Wednesday and had a Heart attack on Friday, the Day they did the surgery a letter came in the mail at my home that said the Stress test  and EKG showed my heart  was good no Problems just keep doing what I was doing. Not trying to scare you or anything but like my Family Doctor told me the EKG and Stress Test " Does not Predict" and does not tell if you had a heart attack, The way they determined I had a heart attack was by Blood Test and one enzyme was elevated the night I went to the ER had it not been for that they would have sent me back home, the next morning they did another blood test and the one enzyme was still elevated so they decided to do a Cather and the Cather showed the arteries in my Heart was almost stopped up They backed out with the Cather and did the quadruple bypass the next day. If you are experiencing any short winded, blurred  vision , extreme exhausting. they need to check further, I know 3 people that died from Heart Attack with no prior knowledge that what their problem was, one my Brother who died at 40 years old. Good luck and hope they find what is your problem. cc

Here is a pic of the 2016 LBL call.  Looks like there is enough interest so I will start a new post so it will be easier to track who wants a call.  They will be $23 each with no shipping if I can send them to someone who is going to the hunt.

Thanks - Doug

It's not a heart problem, it's a nerve and brain problem - no jokes!!! caused by Agent Orange.  I spent forty-two months in Vietnam in areas where Agent Orange  was used almost daily.  The Nuclear testing was done on my brain not my heart.  I do appreciate everyone's concern but as the saying goes "it is what it is".  I have no intention of checking out but if I do I have lived my life exactly as I have wanted.
