Title: Predator Hunting DVD swap
Post by: Bob D on May 03, 2007, 03:42:43 PM
Anybody seen any good hunting dvd's lately? What dvd's have you seen that you enjoyed? Even though we can hunt year round here in the heart of Dixie, I don't do much of it cause of the skeeters, heat and snakes. I can take the snakes better than the heat and skeeters. I think summer is a good time to hone your skills hunting wise and what better way to  do it than watching some of the great callers and hunters in action watching the dvd's. I've learned alot watching them.

I went scouting last week and ended up picking 25-30 ticks off myself. I couldn't imagine laying down or sitting and calling in the stuff I was only walking in.

If you're looking for pure entertainment, and you're into bow hunting, the Verminators bow kill video is one of the best.

+1 for Brents Hunting in the east.I really enjoyed watching this video and learned alote in the process.I like the verminator videos and randy anderson videos as well.I dont care as much for the newer randy anderson videos after he teamed up with primos.I liked his older videos much better.

I like to watch them in the off seasons too. I've seen so dang many I'm due for a new one.
Keeps the blood pumping.

Speaking of which....we should rig up a video swap, "one of mine for one of yours for a week" type of thing.

I liked some guys video that was about Hunting in the East. Seems like his name was Kee or something like that.

I've watched a few of those "bang flop" videos from out west and they can keep that junk. It hardly applies to the techniques we employ here in the east, except for making a prey sound and shooting them when they show up.  The rest is VERY LIMITED on what it can teach you for hunting coyotes in the east.
