Title: So it begins
Post by: riverboss on September 04, 2017, 09:57:21 AM
Been hitting the woods for the last few weeks, after several misses I finally started connecting. Killed these 2 over the weekend using Fawn distress.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170904/ecc2819c425f148fea4eaaadfeb3a759.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170904/e604fad338a8dd7e95dba1803eafa54c.jpg)

Good job.  I can't get over how them units down south resemble our Mexican hairless coyotes.

Congratulations.  Both on the same stand, or two different stands?  Still a bit to hot out here for me to get out, been in the high 80's low 90's.  Maybe next week.

Different stands on different days. I missed one sat morning.killed these two sun and Mon.
It's been cool in the mornings and I've been hunting until around 9.

Way to get after them!  Like pitw said, those coyotes sure look bare compared to ours farther north.  They're probably smarter, too!

Man, you have them dialed in!  That is really something to get that many coyotes where you live.

Thanks I'm lucky to have some great farmers with lots of land and cattle.
I start my season in sept every year. This yr has been awesome so far, the deer population has exploded around here and the coyotes are coming hard to Fawn distress.

Looks like more than the deer population has EXPLODED.  Either that or you have a different way of skinning.  Either way, it looks like fun.

Yea sorry for the not so glamorous pic!  But believe it or not it was a good placed shot.
He covers 70 yrds before that happened with little to no blood loss.
