Is that local or just something I have never heard of? I just did a search and found that it is the largest sporting goods dealer in KY. I read the 'closing' info and find it hard to believe that with all it appears to have going that there is no on interested in buying the business. With the amount of inventory that they have it should be a good sale.

I read the same article and had to read it twice to believe it. Uncle Lee's also owns Wing Supply (on line site). Hard to believe it is the end of an era...40 years. Wing Supply may have a buyer but Uncle Lee's is going to sell everything wall to wall at a big discount. Guns, ammo, everything at discount.
The sad thing is 90 employees will lose their job. Some have been with Uncle Lee's for decades.
Yes its a local store HF you could get anything you needed at one stop from guns to pantyhoses plumbing anything. It will be a great loss.

I am sure that it will be missed. Hopefully some smaller places will pick up the void and expand. Looks like a nice place and if I were close I would certainly check it out.

Never heard of them either. We have a C.A.L. out here that sounds like it is similar. Bought my last 1911 from them and they also sell clothing, ranch supplies, fencing, rabbits, chickens, all kinds of stuff. However I buy my pantyhose for Victoria's Secret.
