What tackle was implemented in the landing of that beast?
The kid has it nailed down to a science, he uses an ugly stick with braid, and he uses really big minnows and a jig and fishes in the real deep rocky ledge type places, he gets some Gators! He said the key is deep water, BIG minnows and fished real slowwwwww. And practices catch n release. I love the camouflage pattern all over that fish, even his fins have camo marks on them.
