My sweet little Mother, straight from the hills of Sicily, just turned 89 and still hanging in there❤️❤️❤️❤️

For some reason I think I could hear a lot of yes, ma'am and no ma'am when you talk with her.  Looks like a really nice lady.

Happy birthday!

That pair of photos is wonderful.  Her younger pic shows an unusually vivacious woman, lots of intelligence, sass and confidence.

Shes still pretty sassy :alscalls:

Great pics of a grand woman.
I say what I think not think what I say.

She never smacked any of us kids when we were growing up, she turned that duty over to the Old Man,  and it kept him plenty busy with five boys and three girls  :yoyo: :innocentwhistle:

I have a friend whose mother is turning 99 this weekend, I can't even imagine being that old.

As pretty now as she was then.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

I think so JohnP :bowingsmilie: All 3 of her brothers were WW2 vets🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸  Back then men were men and did their duty,  and her parents barely spoke English their whole lives but proudly flew a huge American flag at their house.
