I was deer hunting a couple of days ago when this little guy came around the edge of the woods and started across a wheat field. He was about two hundred yards out when I spotted him. I always carry a distress call with me, so I pulled it out of my pocket and gave it a couple of blasts. He turned, headed my way and closed to about ninety yards then turned to circle downwind, but it was too late:

Ya'll got some good looking coyotes Pat, ours don't get to looking that good until mid to late Dec.  Congratulations and I also always carry a distress call with me when out and about.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs
