Be safe on the water this summer!

The search for a missing fisherman in Monroe was suspended Wednesday night.
Marine patrol said three men were fishing from Nine Island Wednesday afternoon when their boat started to float away.
One of them jumped in to stop it, went underwater and never came back up.
The name of the fisherman has not been released.

That place is where two rivers come together and it is a New England river, narrow, fast, and rocky you would not have much of a chance of swimming if you went out in there that's for sure. That old boy should have looked before he leaped.
