Title: Anderson 16" AR upper 1:8 twist
Post by: 1snafu on May 23, 2023, 04:11:41 AM
I recently ordered one from a company in MN. When it arrived, As I looked it over. Near the muzzle. I noticed some bluing discoloration(or lack there of bluing). Quite disappointing because this upper. Should've been caught & pulled during quality control.

Anyway, I bought a few boxes of mfg ammo to give it a go @ 50yrds. Shooting from a bench. I used Frontier 55gr jacked HP & Win 64gr Silver Ballistic Tip. The Win shot a tight clover leaf group. A tad shy of 3/8" center to center.

You gotta like that.
What ya gonna shoot with it? I gathered from one of your posts that you hung up the rifle and started shooting with a telephoto lense.

Well I would shoot a rare(all white, black or yellow) colored coyote. Other than that. A mountain lion if I get the opportunity.
