I've been trying to get out and just cant get it done.
My brother lives on the only road leading to the backwaters, so he walks down quite a bit after work to check up on things. He said they are hammering the pike and bass in the shallows, (bout 4 foot) but the Crappies and Bluegills were hit and miss, pretty far and few between.

I'm pretty deep in web work yet to justify the get away, but I'm sure itching to. This will be my last week at work for probably the whole month of February, so after that, I should be able to get caught up and slip out and do some jiggin...and I WILL. :eyebrownod:
I haven't even had the chance to go calling yet. This is normally prime time up here for rick223 and I. First week of February the coyotes are so horny the crack of dawn looks good to them.
