Elk antler this was a trail and error call that turned out pretty well I think





Jimbo I know you like some of the bark left on antler when it is turned but it just didn't happen this time
The pics aren't the best but let me know what ya think
If there is enough interest in this call I may auction it off

Hey Bill that looks pretty neat   How do you stick the different materials together?  If it's a trade secret I'm fine with that but was just wondering.

Made a 2 inch tennon on the ebony and slid and glued the antler and granadillo on then turned and sanded till I ended up with what you see

And yes this is a buck grunt

How do you know I like a lil bark left on the antler?
Am I that transparent.

I think it turned out nice. I'm not particularly fond of that light colored wood though.

The wood I used here isn't as light as it appears in the pic and the antler does have some color in it also
