It's a 10/22M and it passed the test. :biggrin:  These 10/22's are addictive and a money trap  -  Green Mountain Heavy Barrel, Timmy Trigger with the extended magazine release and auto bolt release, Houge stock.  Plus my youngest grandson has laid claim to it.

Oh John, it is a slippery slope you have started when you get started with 10/22s.  I have uh, uh, a couple, yea that is it - a couple.  Next you will start looking at Volquartsen parts and pieces that make life even better and then you find out about some Kidd (which looks like a 10/22 but had parts too) and life even gets more involved.  Have fun with them.  Trigger replacement will also help your grandson enjoy it even more.

I like the 10/22 as well. I have two plus a takedown model.  I also have a rebuild project that needs a threaded barrel if anyone knows where I could pick one up.
