Title: Crow Command Post
Post by: nastygunz on October 22, 2009, 08:16:15 PM
I like to use natural cover, and I really enjoy spot and stalk rifle crow hunting...but on a nice lazy Fall day...I like to set up my comfy command post, well stocked with food, drink, ammo and a comfy chair...set the caller out with a few decoys...then I sit and wait...sometimes with a good book...and listen for crows or scan the sky and when I see or hear some...on goes the caller and up goes the shotgun...I also have my .22 or .17 HMR on reserve for any who might land in the fields....I call it gentlemen hunting and sometimes do pretty good this way, I have also bagged woodchucks, and squirrel while on crow stand:
