Title: Has anyone ever cooked a whole chicken in the Micro
Post by: FinsnFur on August 15, 2015, 07:48:41 PM
I seen an ad on this the other day. Rub the bird down with all your salts and spices, shove an onion up it's YeeHaa and nuke it for 10 minutes per pound at half throttle.
I'm kind of curious. Anyone ever done yard bird in the nukebox?

Have did many a turkey in the micro wave.
Use the bag to hold all the moisture in.
You also can stuff the bird with any thing you wish. Cook time will vary how ever.

We tried it last week. It was surprisingly good. Well seasoned and moist.  ;yes;

Never cooked a chicken in the micro but I have baked a cake in the micro. You do it the same way. Pour it in the cake pan, just not a metal one. I used one made out of clay. Nuke it 10 minutes and done. Can't tell it from a oven baked one.

I would guess that you have 'popped' chicks when that happens.
